ORIGINS

Passionated about the sea and nature, he had the luck to be born, raised and live in a place so close to the sea. In Ericeira the countryside and rural landscapes are tied up with the steep cliffs and the cold, salty and often rough Atlantic Ocean.

PROFILE

Surfer, graphic designer - art editor at VISÃO the leading news magazine in Portugal - and a true water man. Paulo is also co-founder of Alaia Surf, a project which rescued primordial Hawaiian surfboards from the past. Carved in exotic wood, these surfboards are the most genuine link to the origins of surfing.
